My hair was already a bit curly and frizzy from another failed pincurl set but I put heat protecting spray in and got rolling. I just had to check them out as quickly as possible! :) I was a bit worried that 14 sticks wouldn't be enough, but I had 5 to spare when I was done. :) Next time I won't be so greedy with them. They heated up quickly and putting them in was easy-peasy. Done in just a few minutes, even thought it was my first time trying them out.
Sorry for the poor picture quality. Webcam pics is a saviour when you are lazy. |
Left them in for 15-20 minutes, then took them out, brushed my hair, slapped a flower in there, and:
Hair done! So quick, so easy. I'm sure I will get a better hang of it as I try it out a few more times (and on hair that's not frizztastic from earlier) but for a first try I think that's pretty allright.
Ten thumbs up for hot sticks!
I'll be going on a weekend trip to the cabin tomorrow and I won't be back till Monday, and in a week we are going on yet another weekend trip so blogging will be a little scarce for a while. Hope you all are well in the meanwhile!

Oh yay, I'm glad you finally got some! Hot sticks are so nice for quick 'dos. Be careful though, I used mine a lot and they started ripping out a good bit of hair :( Your hair looks lovely though!

I love the results you got from your hot sticks. I have been wondering about them myself as my hair tends to REALLY hold curl. Think... Shirley Temple.
